The name ‘Silk’ connotes notions of elegance, refinement, and the orient. This led to the silk moth as a logo and motif – taking inspiration from the original ink sketches produced by Edward Lear.
We took colour influences from the vibrant tones in his ink sketches and used this as an accent throughout the space, offering a nod towards travel and the exotic.
The strong visual branding, curated artwork and biophilic wall, as well as accent lighting all contributed to a layered design that delivered a brand identity and design narrative through every touch-point.
