London Design Festival 2022

London Design Festival celebrates and promotes London as the world’s design capital.

The 20th-anniversary edition is taking place on 17–25 September 2022.

LDF is well underway, and there’s much to see and do over a few days. We’ve put together six highlights – but you can see the full programme of events here. Check it out!

Into Sight is a life-sized media platform installation, where Sony Design plays on sensorial effects that transform simple boundary surfaces into an infinite vista through shifting light, colour and sound.

Design for Better 2.0 is a celebration of designing in ways that are better for people, the planet and business. In a packed three-day event, The Future Collective will co-host a series of engaging talks, panel discussions and creative workshops exploring the themes of circularity, social cause and becoming a B Corp.

Design London, the largest official destination for contemporary design at London Design Festival, returns to the Magazine London in North Greenwich with its second edition between 21 – 24 September 2022. The show made its debut in 2021, attracting over 12,000 UK and international visitors.

Are You Mad Carnaby – plastic recycling studio is the first closed-loop plastic recycling experiment held within a high street retail community. We’ve collected plastic waste from businesses, residents and passers-by in Carnaby Street and have transformed it into a conceptual retail space, furniture that lives on the street and design-led products sold in store.

Wolf & Badger presents Alice Straker’s’ The Odyssey of Deliciousness’ Artist and Designer, Alice Straker, is bringing a selection of paintings from her new body of work, ‘The Odyssey of Deliciousness’ to Wolf & Badger. Be prepared for all things sweet including pavlova, cake and trifle! Alice will be painting live showcasing how she produces her textured and delicious oil paintings.
